What a handsome boy is Saro. Currently being fostered in Twickenham, Middlesex for Nirina Dog Adoptions, he is a stunning 9yr old medium sized cross breed boy, and will make a wonderful addition to any home.
Saro is a shy boy and can be nervous when he first meets you, but once he feels safe and knows he can trust you, he is happy to be stroked. He does therefore need a new home where he can take life at his own pace and will not be pushed into situations that may frighten him or make him anxious. He needs an understanding new home, where his new family will help build his confidence, and where he can thrive and continue to shine.
He’s shown that he is good with cats, and other dogs in the home and out and about. So, he could happily live with other dogs or be an only dog. Saro is a good boy with children, and could happily share his home with young people, but it’s thought that his ideal home would be quieter and calm, where he can relax and grow in confidence.
Whilst at the shelter Saro enjoyed his walks, but does now need a little encouragement in his foster home. He really loves his food, so this helps, as an incentive to encourage him when facing new experiences. He travels well in the car too and would love to go out on some nice quiet country walks, where he can meet other dogs and relax into his new life.
If you have a quiet and calm home, are willing to take your time with this gentle boy and perhaps live in a rural/semi rural environment, then Saro could be your boy?
