Affectionate girl Tempy is a 7-8 year old Lurcher in the care of Safe Rescue. She’s in a multi-dog foster home in Norwich, Norfolk.
Tempy is great with other dogs and could live either with another dog or as an only pet.
Tempy can live with respectful children from age 8. She needs an active sort of lifestyle. She had an exciting day recently when she found a rugby ball. Her and and her foster siblings charged about with it for an hour in a secure field. That was a good day!
Tempy is still getting used to walking on a lead as she spent a lot of time in a shelter in Romania where she was never walked. She’s making up for missed walkies now!
Safe Rescue have a policy that all dogs adopted from them must wear a slip lead on walks. Please only enquire about Safe Rescue dogs if you are happy to always use a slip lead – extendable leads are not acceptable to Safe Rescue. All dogs have to be collected and a crate must be used.
