Wilma (Heathlands Animal Sanctuary, Hertfordshire)

Darling Wilma is a sweet little Jack Russell Terrier, that at 13yrs of age, is now looking for a new home as her owner is sadly too unwell to look after her. She has been a much loved pet and well cared for, so needs a new home where this will continue. She is currently in Hertfordshire under the care of Heathlands Animal Sanctuary.

She would really love an adult only home, but would probably be fine with visiting children, that are respectful of her years. She gets on well with other dogs, and is happy to have a little run around with them, but she would prefer to be the only dog in her new home, so she can get all of your love and attention.

She has shown a little bit of fear around men, but so long as she can take her time when meeting them for the first time and then she is fine. Her new owners will need a little patience, as it may take Wilmer a bit of time to settle into her new home, which is understandable, as changing homes can be unsetting for an older lady.

Wilma is in good health and fitness for her age and travels well in the car. She is housetrained and can be left for a few hours on her own at home and settles nicely. Wilma is such a loving little lady that has had a lot of upheaval in her life of late. She so deserves to spend the rest of her days in a settled, warm and comfortable home. She will make some lucky person a wonderful companion.

If you can offer wonderful Wilma a loving forever home, please contact Heathlands Animal Sanctuary below.
