Adopt An Oldie
-
Josh (Dogs Trust Shoreham, Sussex)
Adorable Josh is a gentle giant Greyhound who loves lounging with his people and lots of affection. A relaxing retirement home with a loving family where he’s the only pet and any children are secondary school age would be perfect. Even a foster home with home comforts would be lovely.
-
Tempy (Safe Rescue, fostered Norfolk)
Loving Tempy is convinced she is a lap dog! She’s incredibly affectionate and mixes well with other dogs too, though she’d be happy as the only pet for all the love. Tempy could live with considerate children aged 8+ and would be a wonderful companion.
-
Charlie & Tilly (Jerry Green Dog Rescue, South Lincs.)
This snuggly pair are looking for a retirement home where they can have all the fuss to themselves and not share it with other pets. They can live with children age 11+ and they need a good garden for pottering, sunbathing and the occasional zoomies. They are steady, soppy sweethearts!
-
BeauBeau (Rescue Remedies, Surrey)
Love and fun are all that BeauBeau cares about! She likes walking with her dog friends but wants to be the only dog at home. She’s the most sunny-hearted lady in existence. She loves meeting people because she loves fuss and treats. Soppiness + silliness = BeauBeau!
-
Lucky (Lurcher Link Rescue, W. Yorkshire)
Sadly, Lucky has been waiting for his forever home for 2 years and would love a quiet, calm place with his own space, so he’s not suitable to live with young children, just teenagers only. He could live with a calm, female dog but not cats or small furries. It’s time he went home.
-
Bailey (Lurcher Link Rescue, Yorkshire)
Bailey is a handsome Whippet needing a loving home due to his owner’s ill health. He knows his commands and is used to living with children, though he needs to be the only pet in the home. Can you help Bailey?
-
Aurora (Lurcher Link Rescue, West Yorkshire)
It’s a good thing Aurora enjoys sunning herself in kennels, because she’s been there 6 years! If bored, she has a habit of destroying soft, fluffy things – possibly sofas! And she’s very strong on the lead. Are you up for the Aurora challenge? She doesn’t want to be in kennels forever!
-
Lenny (Rescue Remedies, Surrey)
Lenny is a good-natured, calm boy who travels well in the car. He’s looking for a cat-free home but enjoys being with other dogs. Gorgeous!
-
Scoobie & Yogie (Rescue Remedies, Surrey)
Lovely Lurchers, Scoobie & Yogie are a very relaxed pair of sweethearts. They’re as gold as gold in the house, in the car and on walks meeting other dogs. They’re fine with children and welcoming to visitors. They are goofy, soppy, gentle and adorable!
-
Chyna (Lurcher Link, West Yorkshire)
Chyna loves people and she loves life! Sometimes she’s so full of joy, she’ll get a case of the zoomies which she has to let out. She wants to be an only pet in an adult-only home, as her enthusiastic greetings could bowl small people over. She’s just so happy!
