Chips (Cats Protection, Sussex)

9.4.2014 Chips should have a smile on his face now. A wonderful couple travelled all the way from Manchester to meet him and have taken him home. He sounds very happy in his new home.

Poor Chips is so sad. This lovely 12 year old boy was given up for adoption when his previous owners had a baby, and has been in the care of Cats Protection in Sussex for over a year.

Whilst in care, it was detected that Chips suffered from hyperthyroidism, a common condition in older cats. This was resolved by removing his thyroid glands, and luckily Chips has recovered well.

Chips is so grateful for a gentle fuss, and what he needs more than anything is someone to love him for the rest of his life. His ideal home would be as an only pet and somewhere quiet where he could “do his own thing”. But once he is settled in a new home, Chips will just love having human company.

Can you please bring some happiness into this poor lad’s life again? He really deserves another chance. You can contact Cats Protection as follows:
