6/7/2014 We are devastated to hear that Jack has passed away. Our sympathies are with his wonderful owner who gave him such a happy time in his later years
When Jack Cocker Spaniel came into Oldies Club care in September 2013, he was a bit down on his luck. His owner had died and Jack had quite a few medical problems. He was overweight, arthritic, and wouldn’t let anyone remotely near his ears. He was a troubled little boy…
However, luckily for Jack, his perfect new owner was waiting in the wings and she was happy to take on this lad with all his issues and persevere with him. And just look at him now….
Jack certainly is king in his new home. His coat is soft and silky and his ears are clear. His new owner really has done wonders for this boy and she has devoted a lot of time and care into making sure he is happy and loved. Jack now gets on with everyone, loves the outdoors, and even has a new girlfriend, a three legged cat called Beryl.
Sadly for Jack and his wonderful owner, he has been diagnosed with a heart condition, but this isn’t preventing them from enjoying their life together and there is plenty of life left in this lovely dog yet. Jack is enjoying short walks and visits to the seaside… and of course plenty of tender loving care.
We are so happy for Jack that he has found the love he deserved and he can live out his days in comfort.
