17/8/14 Such sad news. Poor Tara was found to have a tumour and has had to be put to sleep. :(
——————-

Tara is a 12 year old Staffy girl who is being rehomed by Stray Aid and is staying in a foster home in Durham until she finds a permanent home.

Tara is described as a little sweetheart who is a real pleasure to have around. She is very fit for her age and loves to run with her foster carer’s dogs, and she loves playing with a tennis ball. She is great with children and dogs, and she ignores cats and small animals, including her foster carer’s rabbits when they go in the house for a brush!

She loves to run about with a rock in her mouth!! Her foster family think she may have been a bricklayer in a previous life ;)

Tara is very intelligent and well behaved. She has an old scar on her hind leg which doesn’t seem to bother her at all. Her foster carers took her for a lovely walk on the moors, with a picnic, and she enjoyed the freedom and sunshine so much. She then slept like a log on her foster carer’s daughter’s bed, and never made a sound!

Tara is very good around the house. She loves to sit on your knee and look at you with her very sweet eyes. Her foster carer says “We can’t find any faults with her at all, she is very fit and healthy. She is a truly wonderful little dog, I can’t for the life of me understand why no one would want her.”

Could you offer wonderful Tara a permanent home?
