30/7/09 Sally was taken seriously ill yesterday and sadly had to be put to sleep. She had been with NAWT a long time and will be sadly missed.

—————-

This is Sally, a 14 year old Jack Russell cross who has been staying at the National Animal Welfare Trust since her owner sadly passed away.

Sally is blind and can be a bit shy with new people since she is not keen on being handled. But once she gets to know you she is very affectionate.

Sally loves to carry her toys around and any new home must have plenty of squeaky toys for her to play with!

She still enjoys short walks and likes to wander around at her own pace. It would be ideal for her new home to have a garden where she can be safely off the lead and spend time lying in the sun.

Sally does have a heart condition and arthritis and is on medication for both of these problems. She is not used to cats, other dogs or children. Because of her blindness and other conditions, a quiet home where she can be the only dog would be the best.

If you feel you can offer Sally a loving new home, please contact NAWT as follows:

Please mention that you saw Sally on the Oldies Club Website.
