Pebbles is a beautiful tortoiseshell cat aged about 11 years old. Her elderly owner had to go into hospital, and Pebbles stayed at home being cared for by a neighbour. Unfortunately her owner has now died and Pebbles is all alone.

Pebbles is a shy cat who will take a little while to get to know you, but she does like to have company and would love a quiet home and regular company. She could go to a home with someone who worked during the day.

Ideally Pebbles needs a home without other pets, or perhaps with another non-assertive cat or gentle older dog, as she is not a confident cat and would probably be bullied by more assertive cats. Pebbles could cope with visiting children, but probably would not be suitable for a home with small children as she is not used to them.

Pebbles is currently living in her owners old home in North Devon, but she cannot stay there indefinitely, and unfortunately she is unable to move in with the neighbour who is caring for her. She would very much like to avoid her having to go into rescue, as we are fairly sure she would find this difficult to cope with, and at the moment there are no rescue spaces available locally anyway.
