24/11/15 We have had sad news from Kama’s Cave: Sadly, during a recent visit to the Vet, they discovered that poor little Brett had cancer and the vets advice was to let him go to Rainbow Bridge. It’s been a shock and very sad because he never did find his forever home. He was such a sweet little soul. Bless him.

RIP sweet Brett :(

Sweet Brett is a beautiful 8 year old Greyhound who is being rehomed by Kama’s Cave Greyhound Sanctuary.

Dear Brett is a very quiet boy and is quite a nervous lad.  He has had two homes where a lot of change happened and he couldn’t cope with this.  One home had a new baby which really upset him.  He became really thin and withdrawn. But now he is able to cope with almost everything!

Brett is looking for a quieter home where someone is around most of the time.  He may suit an older person or a maybe a retired couple.  He would probably be best homed with another quiet dog who will continue to give him reassurance.  He cannot live with a cat.  He would be fine homed with older children.

Brett has now been weaned off the Zylkene tablets and is doing really well.  He went along to Sandringham recently on a ‘meet and greet’ event and was eager to meet everyone and show them what a handsome boy he is!

This gorgeous boy has come such a long way from the extremely nervous lad that he was.  He is such a sweet natured boy and will make a wonderful companion to the right person.
