19/6/18 – Leah has a lovely new home to go to!
—————–

This little cutie is Leah, a Jack Russell terrier thought to be around 9-10 years old. After being rescued from the pound by Starfish Dog Rescue, she is now safe in a foster home with a lovely retired couple in Gloucestershire.

Darling little Leah was a stray and it is suspected that the reason she was abandoned was because she had a large hernia and a phantom pregnancy. She had to spend 3 months in the pound before she was rescued. As you can see from the video below, her little tail was wagging when they came to get her and it hasn’t stopped since!

Leah is a friendly little girl who is very good with other dogs, is house trained and travels well in the car. She must have been a loved pet at some point because she settled right into home life and is a very good little girl in the home. Below are a couple of videos of her and some of her new doggy friends in her foster home.

Leah is an easy-going, friendly and loving little dog who is perfectly fine with her fosterer’s visit grandchildren. She is chilled out with the other dogs in the home and has even met a cat without incident.

Sunbathing with a friend!

Leah is going to make someone such a lovely little companion. She is full of love and sweetness and wants to share it with a new human family!
