03/01/19 – Harvey has been adopted, having been spotted on Oldies Club! Hooray!
Harvey is a 7 year old Westie cross, possibly Dachshund, in the care of Noah’s Ark Rescue. He is looking for a forever home or maybe a foster home. He’d lived with a lady with health problems all of his life, because of this he has not had much socialisation. He’s used to a quiet life, as an only pet and has only been around teenage children. He needs a relaxed but active home with owners who can work on socialising him. He did make friends with a neighbour’s dog previously. He just needs time to make sure he trusts them.
As you can see in the video above, when he recently met Sid, Harvey was happy to walk with him, but didn’t like him coming up close. He really enjoys his walks. He does pull initially, but soon settles down. He can be left for short periods, but be aware this little lad’s world has been turned upside down lately, so he may be unsettled at first. Bless him!
