25/10/2021: Montan has been adopted! Hooray!
Safe Rescue are caring for adorable Montan who came to them originally around a year ago. He was adopted but has been returned recently as he did not bond well with the man in the household. He’s currently living in a foster home in Gorleston, Norfolk.
Montan is a smallish, 7 year old Crossbreed. He is an extremely affectionate dog to one person at a time, but doesn’t want to share his love with anyone else. He can be spooked by things and people who move too quickly, and consideration must be made for this as it’s very clearly connected to the abuse suffered in his life in Romania before coming into rescue.
Montan is clean and quiet in the house and loves a cuddle. He is looking for a home with a lady living alone who doesn’t mind putting him in another room when visitors call. He gets on fine with other dogs and he could live with or without other dogs. He can go off-lead when he is bonded with his owner.
Montan is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped.
Note: Safe Rescue have a policy that all dogs adopted from Safe Rescue must wear a slip lead on walks for the duration of their lives. Please only enquire about Safe Rescue dogs if you are happy to always use a slip lead – extendable leads are not acceptable to Safe Rescue.
