22/6/22 – Gorgeous Hades has found a new home. So wonderful to hear!
Handsome gentleman Hades is an approximately 7 year old, black and tan German Shepherd who has come to RSPCA Essex South, Southend & District Branch through no fault of his own after his previous owner could no longer care for him. He’s such a gentle chap who would love to find a calm and relaxing home to enjoy for the rest of his life.
If you are looking for a loyal German Shepherd companion, then Hades is the just the one for you. He will love to spend quality time with you, watching films on the sofa or going for walks in nature. Hades loves fuss and attention and is young-at-heart. He knows lots of commands and can be left alone for short periods.
Hades loves a head stroke and gentle fuss behind his ears. if you have that extra special touch, you will see his eyes starting to glaze over and he will lean lazily into you for more. Hades is always keen to go for walks and explore new exciting quiet places. He will need his new adopter to have strong arms to hold him, as often things are just too much fun and he needs to get to whatever it is as quickly as possible.
Hades would prefer to be the only pet in the home and any children should be over 12 years old. Definitely, a calm, patient home would be ideal for this chap as he can get a bit overwhelmed if his world gets too busy.
Hades is not castrated and will need to return to the Centre at the appropriate time. He is microchipped, vaccinated, worm/flea treated and will come with 4 weeks’ free insurance.
