23/06/2023: Lolly has been adopted by a lovely couple who spotted her on Oldies Club! Hooray!

Lovely little Lolly is an 8-year-old Cairn Terrier who is urgently seeking a new home due to her owner passing away. She is currently in Wakefield but is moving to a temporary carer in Boston, Lincolnshire. Lolly is being rehomed privately by her temporary carer.

Lolly is a very happy and friendly girl who lived with a elderly lady, but she loves everyone. Lolly is bright in usual circumstances but is obviously missing her companion. Her carer tells us: “The family of the elderly lady can’t keep her and she deserves to find a 5 star home where she get over her grief and be truly loved again. I will be fostering her in the in-between time but I can’t keep her due to work commitments, but couldn’t see her go into kennels.”

Sweet Lolly is a true companion who is loyal and loving. She would fit into any home where she will be loved and cherished, but she might prefer a fairly quiet home, as that is what she is used to. Kind and gentle older children would be welcome though as Lolly is a friendly lady. Lolly should be fine to live with a compatible calm dog.

Lolly is a little overweight so her exercise level will need to be gradually built up to help her lose a bit of weight and be able to enjoy interesting walks. She will also enjoy having a nice safe garden to explore and relax in. Lolly travels well and is fine to be left on her own for two or three hours when you need to go out shopping etc.

Lolly is fit and healthy, if a little rotund. She just needs someone new to love who will love and cherish her in return.

Lolly is being rehomed privately by Rachel, who has confirmed that she will take Lolly back if her new home doesn’t work out for any reason. Prospective adopters will be carefully homechecked.
