Archie is a handsome, medium sized collie cross, aged around 8 or 9 years old. He originated from the public shelter in Romania and is now safely in a foster home in Norfolk, under the care of Safe Rescue. It is believed that he was cast out by his owner, purely because he was getting old.
He is a sweet and cuddly boy who can be a little shy and nervous at first, and for this reason he is looking to join an adult only household. He really is not keen on other dogs getting into his personal space, and therefore looking to be the only dog in the home. However, he has been living with cats, whom he just seems to ignore, so could possibly live with a feline friend.
Archie is a gentle boy who is just crying out for lots of love an affection, once he feels safe around you. He enjoys short walks, and does not need to go on long outings. This gorgeous boy is a pleasure to be around and will make someone a wonderful companion.
NOTE– Safe Rescue have a policy that all dogs adopted from them must wear a slip lead on walks. Please only enquire about Safe Rescue dogs if you are happy to always use a slip lead – extendable leads are not acceptable to Safe Rescue. All dogs have to be collected and a crate must be used.
