1/3/25 – We are very happy to hear that Sebastian has found his new home and is settling in well.
——————-
Sebastian is a 13-year-old Mixed Breed boy who is with Saving and Rehoming Strays in Ayr, Scotland.
He is just the sweetest old man you will ever meet, which is remarkable given that he’s had a terrible life and was found wandering the streets with a massive growth (the size of a football) on his neck. He underwent surgery to have this removed and then sat in a shelter as no rescue wanted to take on such an old boy…until SRS spotted him and booked his ticket to travel straight away.
All Sebastian wants from life is a gentle hand and a cosy bed. In return he will love you unconditionally. He currently doesn’t live in the house at the rescue, but has a comfy memory foam bed and duvet in his own snuggly kennel and he is overjoyed with his situation. It must be the first time in his life that he has ever known comfort.
Sebastian would be fine living with another dog but he would be best in a home without young children (due to his age rather than having any issues with children). He will walk on a lead, and he travelled well on the transport over from Romania. He is booked in at the vets to have a full dental, as he has a broken canine which must have been causing him pain.
He is fully vaccinated, castrated, microchipped, has a valid EU passport and has had his UK Brucellosis test.
Could you give Sebastian the loving home he so deserves?
