Darling Lexi is a very beautiful 8yr old Chocolate Labrador under the care of Dogs Trust in Shoreham, Sussex. She is the most loving of dogs and is hoping to find a forever home where she will be the only dog and any children are of secondary school age.
Lexi just loves spending time with humans and getting lots of fuss and attention. She is selective as to which dogs that she likes, and prefers to keep herself to herself when out on walks. She is very bright and is currently learning to walk on a loose lead, and she loves a trip out in the car, but might possibly need a ramp if her new family have a higher car, as she is getting on in years.
Lexi was housetrained in her pervious home and keeps her kennel nice and clean, preferring to relieve herself on grass, therefore a lovely garden would be fabulous for her. Playing with her toys is one of her favourite pastimes, and she is also a bit partial to a tickle under the chin !
She much prefers it if her people are around for her, and so leaving her alone at the start should be kept to a minimum until she is settled, after which it might be possible to build up alone time gradually.
