Dear little Suzie has come into the care of Chiltern Dog Rescue Society as her owner is now sadly too ill to care for her. She is a sweet 10yr old, tri colour crossbreed that looks like she may have some Sheltie or Collie and Corgi, with her little legs !
Susie was born in Romania and had lived happily in a loving home in the UK since 2016, where she has been a loyal companion to her previous owner.
Suzie is a calm, gentle and sensitive girl. She is quiet and asks for little apart from lots of love and a nice little secure garden in which she can potter around. She was a little tentative at first, but now walks nicely on her lead and is enjoying walks out with staff and volunteers at the rescue centre. They are told that she used to be let off lead and had good recall to a whistle, but would need time with her new owners to become settled, before this happens in her new home.
An adult home which is quiet and calm would be ideal for little Suzie, as she has no experience of small children. She mostly ignores other dogs when out on walks, so may be able to share her new home with another compatible dog or cat. She has limited experience of being in the car, but is thought she would like to go for days out from time to time. Whilst preferring someone at home for most of the day, she could also be left for short periods whilst you pop out.
She has no known health issues apart from a little mild arthritis and a bit of teeth tartar.
This dear little lady is so special and described as a pleasure to be around. All she asks, is for lots of love, a warm comfy sofa on which to sit to cuddle up next to you, and a calm and quiet home to live out the rest of her days.
