6/2/2007 Oscar has passed away; it is thought that he had suffered a brain haemorrhage. Oscar had been a resident at Bath Cats and Dogs Home for nearly ten years.

Meet Oscar, a very handsome Rottweiler dog that was brought back the Bath Cats & Dogs Home in August 2000 after being with a family for only two months, previously he had been at the Home since July 1998.

Oscar is a nine and-a-half-year old, castrated dog, black and tan in colour. He has been nicknamed Rosk by his animal carer. He is very active and playful and would be a good-natured dog in the right hands once he knows you. He is good with some other dogs however, needs to be rehomed as an only dog and would only suit a new home without children.

Oscar loves going for walks, but he is a large Rottie and needs an experienced owner, as he is strong on the lead and can be over protective but is good off lead. He hates the rain and loves nothing more than a warm cosy bed to tuck up in.

In the right home Oscar would be a lovely dog, but on a one-to-one basis. Are you the person Oscar is looking for? He has been here such a long time that we would love for Rosk to find himself that special home.
