10/9/07 – Boysie has found his special home!
________________________________________________________________________________

Boysie is approximately 2-3 years old and is currently being fostered in Wigan (Lancashire) on behalf of P.A.R.R.T.

Poor Boysie was found as a stray in Newcastle Upon Tyne and when he was taken to the vets to be neutered he was found to be F.I.V. positive. Cats that are F.I.V. positive can live many happy and healthy years, without showing any signs of illness. Boysie will need an indoor home, or a home with an enclosed run or escape proof garden. He will need to be the only cat or be rehomed with other F.I.V. positive cats.

F.I.V. cannot be transferred to any other animals or humans, but to find out more please visit Catchat.

P.A.R.R.T. are also happy to discuss the condition with anyone interested in Boysie.

Boysie is a lovely cat. He is very friendly and loves to curl up on your knee and have his head rubbed. He loves his food and is in good health and has a shiny coat. He likes to play with toys and is quite happily sharing his foster home with other F.I.V. positive cats. He’s also becoming more comfortable with dogs!
