13/2/2009Lovable Kofi has found his new home!
_________________________________________________
Meet Kofi, a supremely regal and noble tabby cat, who has the “common touch” with his subjects! He is around 10 years old (but doesn’t act it!) and is currently cared for by AARU in Nottinghamshire.
A born diplomat and charmer on the charisma front, Kofi is a great, adaptable cat who enjoys being brushed, loves to be stroked and cuddled and is always happy. What more could you ask for?
When he arrived, Kofi had been through the wars, suffering from a flea allergy, and was quite bald! This allergy has been treated and he is doing well – his soft fur has grown back. For his own comfort, you should keep Kofi’s flea treatment up to date in the future; such a simple remedy for an irritating problem.
Kofi is also FIV positive (although bouncing with health), but please don’t let that put you off. He is so very deserving of a good home. As long as he receives prompt veterinary treatment for any health problems, there’s no reason why he can’t live a perfectly long and happy life. FIV can only be transmitted to other cats – so you, your children, dogs or any other animals couldn’t catch it from Kofi. It does mean, however, that Kofi needs to be either be an only cat or rehomed with another FIV positive feline. He’ll also need to be kept indoors – which makes him ideal for anyone without a garden or on a busy road who’d love to have a cat of their own.
Kofi is neutered.
