4/11/09 Jay has a lovely new home now.

——

Jay is a lovely little girl, of about 12 years old, who was removed from a property by an Inspector after a complaint was made about Jay’s condition. Jay was in a very poor condition: she had such a bad dental problem that she had been finding it difficult to eat and groom herself, meaning she had become very thin, and all her fur was matted together.

Now in the care of RSPCA Middlesex NW branch, Jay has had a dental, resulting in a lot of teeth being removed, but she is a lot happier now! And, although she is only allowed to eat soft food, she can at least eat.

She has had to have her back completely shaved as the mats were so bad, but this won’t take long to grow back.

Despite all she has been through, Jay remains the most loving affectionate cat who will be a fantastic companion. She would also be fine living with other cats.

Rescue’s rehoming policy:
The RSPCA Middlesex North West Branch is a small branch of the RSPCA based in the North West London and Watford area. Please note you will be required to have a home visit prior to meeting the cats, and there will be a donation to pay on signing the adoption papers. We are happy to rehome our cats anywhere in the country, within reason, as long as you are able to come to us to meet the cats and are able to safely transport them home.
