Jenny is a small-medium 12 year old crossbreed who find herself back at the Ark in Lincolnshire as her owner feels she can no longer look after her. Jenny was originally at the Ark in June after the death of her original owner. Jenny found kennel life terrifying and so it is a tragedy that she is back there again.

Jenny is very thin (she is said to be a fussy eater) so the last thing she needs is a distressing spell in kennels. Barbara at the Ark is appealing for either a foster home or permanent home for Jenny, urgently.

Jenny has learned to mix with people in her recent home but is still not sure around children and other animals. When outside, she will bark for apparently no reason.

Jenny needs a home with a single person or older couple where there are no children or other pets and where she’ll get lots of love and TLC. This poor old girl is very miserable and trembling being back in kennels and needs a home as soon as possible before winter sets in.

This is from Jenny’s original entry:

Poor Jenny is shell-shocked and bewildered by her circumstances. She has been living with a 92 year old gentleman and has never been socialised with other animals or people. She’s in the house at the Ark at present as kennel life is too much for her to cope with. Jenny is following Pauline everywhere, so she will quickly form an attachment to another human being.

Other than her current frightened state, Jenny is fit and well. It isn’t known if she is neutered but the Ark have found that she doesn’t like cats.

Jenny desperately needs a loving home where she can retire and feel safe again.
