24/8/08 – Sad news from Many Tears – poor Bella was found to have leukaemia and had to be put to sleep. Run free Bella.

This is beautiful Bella. She is a Foxhound and is about 9 or 10 years old. She is currently staying in a Many Tears foster home in Plymouth.

Bella has been in rescue for over a year already and wants nothing more than a family to call her own! It is doubtful she ever had a proper home, so this girl really deserves a chance to spend the rest of her life in happiness and comfort, surrounded by love.

Bella recently started to lose a lot of weight, and the rescue found that she had pancreas deficiency. This has now been addressed, and she will need medication (powders) for the rest of her life.

Although she looks a bit worn out at present, she is an active dog who is incredibly food-orientated. You wouldn’t know how old she is by the way she acts!

Bella is fine with other dogs and enjoys their company, but would be just as happy to be an only dog. She doesn’t seem to mind cats either. She is very loving and will make someone a great pet and a friend for life. She loves to go for walks, but also enjoys snoozing in her favourite chair!

There is no adoption fee for Bella (although a donation would be lovely) and Many Tears will try to help pay for her medication if needs be.
