7/11/08 Lucy has very sadly had to be put to sleep due to ill health.

——

Lucy is a beautiful 13 year old medium-sized Lady who, through no fault of her own, is in the care of Blue Cross Bromsgrove Adoption Centre in Worcestershire.

Lucy is smaller than her photo suggests – she’s about the size of a small Labrador.

She is a sensitive girl who needs a quiet, relaxed home where she will be allowed to settle in at her own pace. She enjoys going for short walks and spending time with people.

Lucy is the ideal dog for someone on their own who is looking for a sweet companion, or for a quiet family with sensible teenagers who won’t pester her. Ideally, Lucy would like to be the only pet in her new home so that she can have all the attention and have plenty of time spent with her.

If you are looking for an undemanding companion and are at home for the majority of the day, please enquire about this gorgeous lady.

If you would like to know more about Lucy, please contact the Blue Cross Bromsgrove Adoption Centre as follows:

Please mention that you saw Lucy on the Oldies Club website.

Blue Cross advise you to phone or email to make sure this dog is still available before you visit. To reserve a dog you would need to visit the adoption centre and complete the necessary paperwork with a member of staff.

Summary of Rescue’s Rehoming Policy
When potential owners visit the centre they are asked to fill out a homefinder form. This enables us to see what kind of dog they are looking for. If interested in a particular dog, a member of staff discusses the dog’s history and ensures the owners are best suited to the dog. A homecheck is carried out after a reserve is put on and all members of the family are asked to visit the dog at least twice to get to know it better.
